Quick story: Ryan and his Dad were working on reshingling the shed roof, and Jared was out with them. He'd been out there with them all morning while I planned for school, so it was a fine arrangement. I go out just to see what progress was being made, only to see my husband on the roof, his Dad somewhere behind the shed, and Jared, ALL THE WAY UP THE LADDER!!!! No jokes at all, one more rung and he would have been a few inches above the roof. Of course, I'm a little concerned, so I say, "Ummm, Ryan. Have you seen where Jared is? He's coming to you." And so Ryan runs over and grabs him, etc., etc. Thought I'd share a moment in the life of a family with a very active and ambitious 16 month old boy.
