I HAVE A TEACHING CONTRACT!! Yup, I am the new (pregnant!) physical education teacher at Queen Elizabeth Primary School. I am really excited, first of all because I got the contract, despite being pregnant, and second of all, because it's at a really good school! It's .7, which is nice. It started off as .5 and has made it's way up. It all happened SO fast. On Wednesday, the principal called to book an interview with me the next morning, and then that next evening he phoned to say I got it, but wasn't sure of the times. Then Friday he called to say it was now .7. So I THINK that I am working all day Tuesday and Thursday and then MWF afternoons. I hope that's what it is, because I scrambled to find childcare to fit those hours. I think I have it all worked out. In fact, I have to make a choice as to who I'm going to pick for the TTH full days. And I'm so thankful that Ryan's parents and sister are taking him on the afternoons. So I start Monday. And I still don't have my schedule as to which classes I'm teaching or when. It's hard to plan without that info. So I haven't really planned. I'll be busy tomorrow...

That's great Allison! Sounds like you're really happy about it! So what happens when your baby is born?

That's so cool...QE is the school that I am very involved in...I have actually been a volunteer in PE classes for gr 6,7 and 8 there. How would you like a volunteer?

Hey Al,

Wow, so great to hear! Yeah, I also thought of Daryl as I read what school you'd gotten the job at. So glad that it looks as though things are working out for Jared's care - I wish I could be there to help out with that. See you this weekend!

I did get your comments. I am going to be stopping by the school one of these days and I'll have to talk to you then.
