31 degrees in a stuffy classroom with 25 tired kids can only mean trouble. And this is the position I found myself in today. Seriously, I have never been in a more closed-up room. You'd think that since most of the weather here leans towards to warmer temperatures, they would have designed their buildings to capture the ocean breeze and get rid of the stuffy-ness. Alas, they have not. I think the classrooms in Canada are better equipped for heat, and we're not even in school during the hottest months! At least the unit that Ryan and I rent has air-conditioning. That's another thing. I would have expected all the buildings here to have air-conditioning, they way we expect all the buildings in Canada to have central heat. Not so. But I'm not
complaining. Just different to what I expected.
