Spring has definitely sprung here in Brisbane. The weekend was a 27 degree one. But the sun is more intense, I think, because we are closer to the equator here. We spent one day down at the Southbank Parklands here in the city. They have a man-made lagoon and beach so we lazed around there for a couple of hours. And yesterday we went to the Australian Zoo (Home of the Crocodile Hunter). We didn't see Steve Irwin, though. I don't think he's there much anymore. But it was still fun and the animal demonstrations were excellent. Of course, the crocs were the main attraction! We both learned a lot about them.
It's hard to believe that I only have six weeks left in my internship. Well, eight, but two of those are holidays. I don't know what I am going to do during that time, as Ryan is going to be working so we can't go anywhere. Any suggestions?
