Things are starting to change, which I guess is good. Feeling "looser" in the pelvis (never felt it like this with the other two), and getting the lovely sciatic pain down my right leg. I never had that with Ayda, but TONS on my left side with Jared. He was double-footling breech, so both of his feet were shoved in my pelvis, pressing on the sciatic nerve. As soon as he hauled those feet up and flipped late in pregnancy, the pain disappeared. This one is not breech, so not sure how s/he is hitting the nerve, but it's off and on. Nothing like with Jared, though, thank goodness.
Ayda starts preschool tomorrow and she is excited, which I am thankful for. She'll do so good.
Jared starts kindergarten next week - his teacher came for a home visit a couple of days ago, which I think is awesome. He's much more apprehensive, which is his personality. I am praying that he feels comfortable right away so that going to school is not a battle every day he goes. Plus, he will take the bus, so that's another new thing that he has to adjust to. He just doesn't do well with big changes like that - or change in general. But we haven't figured out what works best with him - talking about it ahead of time or doing a bit more "springing" it on him. It depends on the situation, I think, and I don't always know which approach I should take. Of course, we have talked about school and he knows at least two kids in his class (and they will also be on his bus) so that should help...prayers would be appreciated!!
