I have been trying unsuccessfully to post pictures of the kids during a particular mud fiasco that occurred last week. If you are on facebook, you've probably seen the pictures there. I am going to stop trying, because it just doesn't seem to be meant to be. Basically the kids had free run of the oodles of mud in our yard, while Ryan did some roto-tilling around our trees (which, by the way, are doing fantastic). I was not home. The kids ended up completely covered in mud (no, I was not successful in getting Ayda's pants totally clean). There is still a pair of Jared's socks somewhere in our yard, as he removed both his boots and socks. Ayda only removed her boots. I'm not sure which was preferable. Anyway, except for the pants, everything came clean, the kids themselves being the easiest to get that way. And they had a ton of fun. Ryan said every time he shut off the tiller to see how they were doing, he heard nothing but giggles. And I guess Ayda needs a pair of play pants, anyway.
