UPDATE ON THE HOUSE
So here are a few new pics of the house, although it again already looks different, since we've moved in. No more pics until all the boxes are out of sight! This is my side of the bathroom - sink on one side, make-up table on the other.
Powder room downstairs. It is now sans the paint and drills!
Our hung doors! This is looking into our room. Almost all the other doors had been hung a long time ago, but ours, the study, and the pantry hadn't arrived at the same time, because they have glass panels. You can see where the glass is in the picture - they are currently covered in plastic and primer, but we'll just peel it off once they are painted!
Pantry door also hung.
Front entry! This is where you will all enter when you come to visit! (Well, not quite yet - we don't have stairs going up to the front porch yet.)
Just a little update. We got internet hooked up today, so I'm back online! I'm feeling a bit better, although today was a trial with the kids. Between Ayda's whining (what a great stage!) and Jared flipping between over-stimulated and/or crying (after meds are given) and stoic and cuddling on my lap (as meds wear off), it's been a long day. Yup, he's sick with a throat infection. Lovely. Oh well - he's with Dad at the cabin for the night so I get a break with just Ayda.
And my trees that we planted last month are doing so good! I can't believe how fast they have grown, and how green they are. The only loses we have had are due to an out-of-control rotter tiller. Of course, they are still really small and won't provide much shelter for a few years, but compared to what they were when we planted them...they are amazing. I have a real attachment to them - I really want them to survive!

Looks good, Allie.
When Atticus was born Vin went out and bought some teeny tiny trees to grow. We loved and grew those trees up for a couple years, but unless we want to become traffickers they'll have to be left to grow on their own (so basically, no one will ever take care of them again and they'll die) in Taiwan.
LOOKS GREAT!
I can hardly wait for those front steps to be installed. And for those green sticks to get big enough to withstand the rototiller. I'm sure glad it wasn't me on the tiller!
Congratulations to all of you.
Oh and praying for strength, peace and patience for you
Looking excellent! Glad you can have some downtime with just Ayda tonight.
We're planting lilacs this week; they're sitting in pots right now and have already sprouted lots since we bought them and it is so exciting!
WOW! WOW! WOW! I cannot wait to see this beauty (your house...and you!!) When are you accepting visitors?! Looks great:)
