Yes, I am up at 1 AM. And I wish I weren't. I think I can almost go to bed...I hope to post some pictures soon, maybe tomorrow...or maybe not. Ayda and I leave for Arizona in about 10 days, and my schedule is pretty full until then, doing last minute things. Plus Easter in there.
Anyway, Jared usually signs for milk, but today he looked at me and said, "Mil..K!" (Huge emphasis on the "k".) He was so proud of himself, since hard letters like that, at the end of words are hard to say. So, of course, it was the word of the day! Everyday I look at him, and am amazed at how much of a little boy he is. He is so independent (everytime I pick him up from childcare at a church event, whoever is working comments on that) and starting to listen so well (for the most part!) and I just can't believe that he's mine. I love him so much. I am overwhelmed that God has entrusted him to me - I certainly can't raise him without help, both from God and Ryan!!
And our little girl is also growing way too fast! She had her first swim in the pool on Sunday, using the "neck-ring" (stay tuned for pictures), and LOVED it! I wasn't sure how long she would last, since the pool can be a bit chilly, but she floated around with us for almost half an hour! So far her eyes have remained blue, and I hope they stay that colour, which is the same colour as her Grandpa Unger's. She talks a lot - more than Jared did at this age, I think. Lots of "oooh"s and "owwwww"s. And huge smiles. A lot of them go to Jared, naturally. But I do get a few good ones myself!
Well, it's time for bed. Good night.

I know how you feel. I look at my daughter and am in complete awe. And I can't believe the amount of love I feel. You can't explain it to anyone, unless they have kids. It is amazing!

Sounds like the kids are doing well. It's so amazing to watch kids learn, no matter what age they're at! I love hearing updates on yours.
