So I'm experiencing a Mommy first - a sick child. Oh, Jared's had colds before, but never a fever. And today he has a fever. I dropped him off at Grandma & Papa's this morning, and by the time I came to pick him up in the early afternoon, he was burning up. His Auntie Carrie had brought some Advil over, so after we got home and he had a nice nap, he no longer had a temperature and was playing well. So we headed out to pick up Papa Unger from the airport, and then went to Ryan's Grandma's place. He played well there for about an hour and a half, and then the Advil wore off and within 5 minutes he was burning up again and laying on the couch beside me. So I gave him Tylenol and we came home and put him to bed. I haven't taken his temp since - maybe I'll sneak up and do that soon. I feel so bad for him because I know what it's like to have a fever - it sucks! At least he drank quite a bit this evening, which he didn't this morning. And he's not throwing up! Hopefully Ayda doesn't catch it, though...
