Okay, details for the undershirt-sewn-into-sheet! Basically all you do is buy a crib sheet (or whatever sheet you need for your toddler's bed) and an undershirt for him/her. Cut a slit about the same size as the bottom of the undershirt into the sheet. Then you just sew the bottom of the undershirt to the edges of the hole you cut (my mother-in-law sewed a piece of stretchy cuff material between the two first, but that's optional). You need to have your regular sheet on the bed first, and then you put the altered sheet on top, with the undershirt out. Then you put your toddler into the undershirt, so that his/her feet and legs are between the two sheets. When they are standing on their bed, it looks like they are wearing a dress that is tucked under the mattress, which basically is what is happening. They can move around the bed, but can't get off. My friends who introduced me to this had the problem of their child hanging off the bed while sleeping, so they had to put the mattress on the floor, but we never had that problem. I will try to remember to post a picture tomorrow. Jared is sleeping in his room, and that's where the sheet/crib is, so I can't take a picture right now. Hope this makes sense!!

Does this scare anyone else out there??? Imho, If your kid isn't ready, you shouldn't put him in a bed, not tie him down to it. Just don't show him pictures of this when he gets older!
