We are stuck in Arizona. Yeah, I know, tough life. It's a little complicated, because of Ryan's work being so busy, but we really had no options. We flew courtesy of my brother's employment at US Airways, but that means we fly stand-by. When we picked this date, all things looked fine, but then all of a sudden, just before we arrived, the flight we wanted to take filled up. And so did all the flights to Calgary from last Thursday until Tuesday. We did go to the airport this morning to try to get on, but there was no way. So instead of doing it all over again tomorrow, we are just staying until Wednesday, when the flight isn't even half full, so we are pretty much assured of a seat each. We even tried to reroute through Vancouver, but that flight had 6 empty seats with 6 people already lined up on standby.
I guess we will make the best of it by going to some outlet stores tomorrow morning, and then lazing by the pool in the afternoon. The forecast is for 29 degrees...
