Our son looks like he's just
taken part in a street fight.
I'm not sure what the bruise
on his forehead is from; possibly when I had him in bed with me, dozed off and let him crawl off the bed. Ooops.... I won't be doing that again! Sorry my little toad! But the
one around his eye is from his
first falling down the stairs incident.
It wasn't too bad. I think he was only up one step, but he was wearing his sleeper with feet, so I think his foot slipped and he conked his head on the step on the way down. Of course, neither Ryan nor I actually saw it happen. It was a combined fault issue - I didn't close the gate and Ryan wasn't watching him after he put Jared's PJ's on. The only witness was Aaron - Jared's almost 4-year-old cousin. And he wasn't sure just how it all happened either. Anyway, Jared screamed for about 30 seconds, then wanted a cuddle, then wanted to play. So no real harm done. And I am absolutely positive that it will not be his last bruise! But it's been a rough week for our little boy and we are to blame. It makes me aware of just how watchful I now have to be. These incidents weren't that bad, but some could be. Of course, we are usually very vigilant with Jared's safety!
And he's also just had a chunking out growth spurt, so his face is so fat - I love it! I suppose he'll be shooting up soon! That with the lovely drool - I hope those teeth make their appearance soon!

I wasn't being careful carrying Gemma; I turned to quickly and banged her head into the side of the closet. She loooked confused for a few seconds, then yelped, and that was it. But I felt super bad!! You are right; there are plenty more bumps and bruises to come, and we both know you are a great mother!!!
Ok...so what will he be shooting up? in growth I hope and not drugs.
I will be a bit more concerned with this then the falling.
By the way I have a parcel for you from Taiwan.
