Thanks, Lynette, for the paint advice. I think we've narrowed it down to three options. And the fence has it's first coat on it. Boy, did that wood suck up the paint!! Even though it was pressure treated and the stain was only supposed to take one coat, we will have to do two. But it shouldn't take nearly as long. And apparently I am too fussy when it comes to painting fences. I had done about a quarter of the fence in around 2 hours...well, Ryan did the rest of it in about the same amount of time. I watched in horror as he whipped through it, but was told that it was just a fence, not a wall inside the house, and a few drips and uneven-ness didn't matter. Sigh. I guess I'll try to zip through the second coat myself.
I'm currently at Aberdeen, subbing for the high school computer teacher. Not my idea of a great afternoon, but oh well. At least it's only for the afternoon!!
There was something that I was going to look up/do research on while I was here at Aberdeen, but now I can't remember what it was and it's driving me crazy. Hopefully it will come to me.
