Okay, I actually HAVE blogged since my birthday, but for some reason, it didn't get posted. But our computer has some sort of disease that is slowing it down SO MUCH!!! I don't think it's just because it's old, because it used to run much faster. It's probably just full of many viruses. We have Norton Anti-virus, but apparently it's not catching (or can't catch) existing viruses. So anyway, it's like we have dial-up internet, or even slower. And for everything, not just the internet. It thinks all the time, it's so behind in its thoughts. Seriously, we can hear it thinking at night. Unless Casey (our dog) is secretly using it.
So this might be a long blog, as I am happy to finally be able to. I am filling in for the secretary at one of my Dad's companies, so I have lots of free time.
I was working at the Dutch Growers nursery, but am finished there now. So nothing until I start as a playground leader for the city at the end of June. I have decided that I will finish unpacking and sorting stuff that we had stored while in Australia. Yes, as we have not missed much of it, a lot will probably get chucked. Or maybe we'll have a yard sale! I'll have to see just how much we have.
Ryan applied to do the written part of his journeyman's (or "journeypersons" as they now say - so dumb) on June 15, so we are hoping that he will be able to. Then he just has to do his practical in August, and he will be a journeyman welder. I'm so proud of him. So often in our society today we place so much emphasis on university. And there is nothing wrong with university, but people like Ryan are just not university people. And in spite of this, look at what he has accomplished. Plus, school aside, he supports me, his family, financially and in every other way, as I search for my classroom - which is somewhere in this world. What a hunk of a true man!! And so hot...
