I had been a bit worried about this Baby, because I hadn't felt a lot of movement. And I knew it was illogical to worry: I am only 18 weeks now, my placenta is in front, etc. But I just feel like things are going too well this time, so something is bound to go wrong. As it turns out, I was worrying for absolutely nothing! I have an extremely "active little stinker", as the ultrasound technician said today. She had some trouble getting the measurements she needed, because this little one was doing summersaults, flips and jumps. She also said that we have a very cute Baby - that there are some babies she could just scan forever and ours was one of them. She said s/he is very photogenic - I am guessing that means s/he has a nice profile?! Anyway, it was all around an excellent day - getting to see my third Baby! I actually have another ultrasound next week. This one was for the study that I am in and next week is just the regular mid-pregnancy one that my doctor ordered. And of course, now that I've seen the little one flipping around, I have started to feel the movement more regularly. So fun. I just love it.
As far as gender, no, we didn't find out and don't plan on finding out. It'll be a surprise! But I am accepting guesses. The heart rate has been as follows: at 10 weeks - 177 bpm; at 14 weeks - 130 bpm; at 18 weeks - 160 bpm; today, also at 18 weeks - 146 bpm. Any other bits of info people need in order to make a guess? Leave your question as a comment and I'll let you know!

I don't like to say based on heart rate because Landon was always high and everyone said that means girl. If I go with my gut feeling, I would say boy for you.

I know, heart rate is not at all reliable, but my kids did actually fit that stereo-type, and it's fun to guess! It doesn't matter at all what people say or why they say it, God decided from the beginning what this Baby will be and nothing will change it!
