Day 17 - someone you would want to switch lives with for one day and why

I had to really think about this! When my cousin Jamie did this day, she said her husband, and that thought certainly crossed my mind, too. But of all the people I considered, the one that stuck in my mind isn't even a real person! I would love to trade lives for one day with Monica Gellar/Bing from Friends. And you know why? Because she would organize and clean my house for me!!! It has nothing to do with wanting to do what she does (no desire to be a chef), but I'd get through it in exchange for a completely cleaned and organized house! And actually, once I started thinking about it, yes, she is a chef and it shows her doing her job on the odd episode, but mostly she has time off and hangs out in the coffee shop or at her apartment. Yup, I could do that for a day while she cleans my house! And more importantly, she'd organize it! That's a challenge for me. If something has a place, I can put it back and keep things organized and tidy. But if I have no idea how to store something...ughhh, it annoys me and I can't keep things the way I want. Toys are the biggest bane of my existence for this right now.

And I don't even mind the cleaning part (except for dusting; I hate dusting), but it's the prep for cleaning that I hate - putting stuff away when I don't know where to put it!! So by the time I've fought with that job, I end up not feeling like cleaning! And it's hard to train the kids to put stuff away, when again, I don't know where to put it!

So Monica, please come and trade one day with me!!
