A fun questionnaire that my cousin Jamie had on her blog. I like to do these on occasion, so here we go!

1. What color is your toothbrush? Clear and green...I think.

2. Name one person who made you smile today: Jared ("Grandpa, you smarty-pants!")

3. What were you doing at 8 am this morning? Sleeping :)

4. What were you doing 45 minutes ago? Sorting laundry

5. What is your favorite candy bar? Twix (ahh, memories of Germany)

6. Have you ever been to a strip club? Nope

7. What is the last thing you said aloud? "What was is that Jared was talking about before he told Dad he was a smarty-pants?"

8. What is your favorite ice cream? Pralines and Cream. Or Creamsicle.

9. What was the last thing you had to drink? 7-Up (hoping to add a bit of mojito mix to it before I go to bed!!)

10. Do you like your wallet? Yup - I bought a sweet Kate Spade wallet when we were at the outlet mall in May for everyday use and simple (but white!) Coach one for special use - goes with the Coach purse I bought. Yup, totally spoiled myself that trip. Hey - I've never had a nice wallet!

11. What was the last thing you ate? Gummy bears

12. Have you bought any new clothing items this week? Not for me, but I bought Ayda a cute new Blu outfit that we just got in at the store. And I bought an outfit for a birthday gift.

13. The last sporting event you watched? Does Steve Irwin diving fanatically into the water to catch a huge sea snake count as a sporting event?! Other than that, either Ryan's soccer game or a football game. Can't remember which was later.

14. What is your favorite flavor of popcorn? Dill Pickle

15. Who is the last person you sent a text message to? Ryan and my Dad (sent them the same message). No wait. Roxi was the last person I sent a text to.

16. Ever go camping? Yes, but not in a while. Having a cabin cuts down on the camping trips.

17. Do you take vitamins daily? Yes I do. 

18. Do you go to church every Sunday? Normally, but this year has been up and down with the house construction. Actually, we normally go to the Saturday evening service.

19. Do you have a tan? You bet! And so do the kids. I love the summer!!

20. Do you prefer Chinese food over pizza? Totally depends on the day and where each is from. 

21. Do you drink your soda with a straw? Only if it's served to me that way.

22. What did your last text message say? "Are you finished your meeting?"

23. What are you doing tomorrow? Nail appointment in the morning. No set plans after that (rare!), although I am hoping to finally get to nap with the kids. 

25. Look to your left, what do you see? Our fireplace.

26. What color is your watch? Silver

27. What do you think of when you hear Australia? I want to move back...

29. Do you go in at a fast food place or just hit the drive thru? Depends on a lot of variables: Am I alone with the kids? Do we have time to go in? Have they earned playtime on the slides? Have they napped/slept to a decent hour in the morning? What is everyone's mood? Have I just cleaned their car seats, or does it not matter if they spill fries and chocolate milk all over them?

30. What is your favorite number? 10? Don't really have one.

31. Who's the last person you talked to on the phone? Our babysitter. She can't babysit on Saturday.

32. Any plans today? Well, the day is almost over. But today I had the girls and kids over for lunch, watched Kaitlyn in the afternoon, had Dad over for supper, walked with Karen and Roxi, put the kids to bed...

33. How many provinces have you lived in? Only the one.

34. Biggest annoyance right now? I keep seeing a reflection in our front entry window out of the corner of my eye, but when I look straight at it, it never appears. Arghhh! What is that?!

35. Last song listened to? Linkin Park's "Shadow of the Day"

36.Can you say the alphabet backwards? No...will I ever need this skill?

37. Do you have a maid service clean your house? Sigh, no. Part of me would like one, part of me wants my kids to see us do it as an example. I guess in a few years, they will be my maid service. Tee hee. Hey - I did my time for my parents, it's only fair that my kids do it for me! :)

38. Favorite pair of shoes you wear all the time? My Gravis flip-flops that are royally ready to be retired. The sole on one of them flaps around all the time. I really noticed it yesterday - every time I took a step, it sounded like I took two! Maybe they'll make it until I have to switch to closed shoes. 

39. Are you jealous of anyone? I'm sure I am, but I can't think of specifics at the moment. Actually, I am jealous of anyone who got their stomach back after giving birth. 

40. Is anyone jealous of you? A few people have said they are jealous of our house. Please know that we worked (are still working!) extremely hard on our house and have put so much into it in every way. It certainly did not fall into our laps! But we do love it. God has truly blessed us.

41. Do you love anyone? So many people.

42. Do any of your friends have children? Most of our friends have kids. All of our close ones do. We are fortunate in that way.

43. What do you usually do during the day? Non-working day: get together with Bible study or Mom's groups in the morning, nap the kids in the afternoon (maybe sneak one in myself), make supper for the family and whoever happens to be helping us on the house that day, keep the kids out of the tools, off of the scaffolding, out of the dugout, and basically occupied in the evening, put the kids to bed. Working day: Insert substitute teach or work at Cravings Maternity and Baby Boutique for the first two events of the non-working day. The rest is the same. The days go by so fast.

44. Do you hate anyone that you know right now? No

45. Do you use the word 'hello' daily? Yes

46. What color is your car? Our car is a forest green. It's a Jetta and it's awesome on gas! However, it's a tad uncomfortable for a family of four, so we usually take the kids out and about in the BLACK Trail Blazer. So much more terrible on gas and so much more room. And I don't ever bend over to buckle car seats. SO worth it.

47. Do you like cats? Yes I do. Cats catch mice. 

48. Are you thinking about someone right now? Not really - I'm doing this survey thing!

49. Have you ever been to Six Flags? Yes. It was so fun. I could go there everyday. Anyone wanna go?! Hey - Jamie! We talked about going, you and Mark and Ryan and I! Let's not forget that, and one day actually take a roller coaster vacation.

50. How did you get your worst scar? I don't have a lot of scars. My worst one(s) are probably from my laproscoptic surgery to take my appendix out. That's three little slits they use: one for the camera, one for the laser, and one for the tong things to pull my appendix out with. Okay, that's sad, because I just checked, and unless you search, and know where you are searching, the only one that's visible is the one just under my belly button. 

FYI - I figured out what the reflection was - there is a lighting storm happening way in the distance. So weird - that going on way out there, yet here it's completely calm, warm out and smells just lovely. You'd never guess a storm is brewing. (Or maybe not; maybe it will never reach us.)
