Sigh. Sorry all of you that commented that you wanted to keep reading my blog - you'll have to take it one step further. I need your email addresses. SO if you want to keep reading, please email me at teacherallie@yahoo.ca. Those of you that know my more regular email address, you can email me there, too. Whichever - I check both. And so far, I will gladly give those of you that have asked, access to my blog.

I had my first "MOMS" group today at our church, and we all have to volunteer one week with childcare. I did so today. I was in the nursery, but there is a windowed door directly into the toddler room, so I peeked in on Jared a couple of times, because I love watching him play. He looked SO much bigger (and dare I say, more mature) than the other kids! I'm tempted to take him to the preschool room, meant for ages 2 and up, next time. Not that he didn't have fun, but his buddies are in the other room. I think because most of his friends are a bit older, we sort of see him as older, and expect him to do the things that they do. And when he does live up to those expectations most of the time, I often forget that he isn't the same age as those buddies. He's very physical, very social and very vocal, although in that area, he doesn't speak as clearly or in complete sentences yet. But I hear other's his age, and he is more advanced then they are, for the most part. Anyway, I'm pretty proud of my big boy (and he is also big - 34 pounds, we found out at the hospital!), and am so thankful that he is healthy and strong and happy. I love him so much.

We bought a Shrek DVD 3-pack and one of the DVD's was a bonus 3D DVD. It really isn't very good, but it came with a bunch of glasses, so Jared of course found them, and since we really don't care about that particular DVD, we just let him play with them. He always wants others to participate in "dress up" so I took a picture of us in our cool glasses.
