It's been very interesting for me to see what others think about our Baby! I would like to send out an extra special thanks to those of you who voted that this one will be lighter than Jared!! :) Not that those well-wishes will determine the weight, but it's nice to know that you're on my side! Ah well, in the end, Baby is what Baby is, and no one can do anything about anything. And we will love him or her unconditionally no matter what! And I did give birth to my first beautiful big baby, so I'm pretty sure I could do it again if I had to!!
Jared's newest favourite word is "run". And since he does pretty much run everywhere, we hear it a lot. "Run, run, run, runrunrunrunrunrunrunning. Mommy? Run." And he's back into hiding. He went through a stage of "hiding" (laying on the floor as far away from you as he could be) when he heard us coming, but hasn't done it much lately. Now he hides in the carseat box we kept out for him, and calls for us to find him. Dive into the box........"Mommy? Mommy!" Giggle, giggle, giggle. Yesterday he was hiding in the box and Ryan found him, and crawled partially into the box with him, on his stomach. Jared pushed his head to the floor, saying, "Night-night" and then layed on the floor himself. Ryan was like, "Okay! Let's take a nap." Yeah. That nap lasted all of 2 seconds.
He had his 18 month shots, plus the flu shot on Friday. Yup, the 18 month ones are the worst. After shot #1, they know what's coming! The nurse was really good, though. I held him facing one way, she gave him his arm shot and while he was still crying, excuse me, screaming, from that one, she quickly did the leg one. Then we switched sides and quickly did it again. By the time we got back to the waiting room, all was forgotten. He actually does really well with shots. Now no more for him until he's 4. And we tried to weigh him on the baby scale, but he's too big! 31 3/4 pounds, which puts him in the 97% for weight. I forget his height and head circumference measurements, but the head was 91% and height was 75%, although it was hard to get an acurate height. Well, we all know he is a big boy!!! I had to put three (four?) pairs of pants away this past week, because they were either too tight or too short, and I just noticed that the shirt he is wearing today is starting to become a belly shirt, and the sleeves are too short. I think that he is starting his stretch up and thin out process.

Wow! Jared is about 4 lbs heavier than Landon! He's only in the 4th percentile for weight. They're built so differently, eh? We'll see how well they play at Christmas, Jared could probably beat up Landon!

I know what you mean about shirts becoming belly shirts. Rachel has that lots lately. She's built different than Landon too! Landon doesn't outgrow shirts. He's wearing some of the same ones he wore at 18 months!
