Congratulations to my friend, Lindsi Gross and her husband Adam, on the birth of their daughter, Jada Lillian, weighing in at 8 lbs, 9.5 oz. She was born on June 10, down in California. I've seen pictures, and she is a doll!!
And a short tribute to my husband. We were married 5 years ago yesterday, and I'm so much more in love with him. He is everything I need him to be for me. He is patient and gentle and caring and so talented with his hands - just look at half of our roof! He's never re-formed or resheeted a roof, and he did both with some help from friends and by reading a section in a Home Depot book! He is just so amazing with the trades - he can design and build things I wouldn't even know where to begin with. Plus he helps me around the house and still holds my hand and opens the car door for me when we are on dates (harder to do that when you're also with a toddler!) Plus, he's really very good looking, so he makes beautiful babies!!! I love you, Ryan! You have been my dream come true for the last 5 years, and will be for many more!!

Thanks for posting the birth of our daughter...that was sweet! I just have to make a little change...her name is actually Jade (not Jada) :)
She is so mellow and makes the best faces!!! We are absolutely in love. I was really sick with a blood infection after her birth, so Adam took care of her day and night. He is such a natural...and a wonderful daddy (completely smitten by his little princess).

And on 5 years of successful marriage. You are becoming one of the examples of what love, marrige and committment are all about.
