I was trying to get a good picture

of Jared standing, but everytime

I would call his name, he would

drop down and come crawling

to me - he wanted the camera!

And if anyone has tried to take a

picture of a crawling child who

has his mind set on something...

well, it doesn't work too well.

So I got this one, just after he

dropped down.

And then I got this one, where he didn't know I was

taking the picture! We just put the fence up, and I

still don't know whether I like the idea or not. I know

it keeps him out of the DVD's and electronics, but we

also keep his books on a shelf that is now blocked. And

I am a firm believer in teaching kids "No", not just

putting up baracades and moving everything out

of their way. So it's nice for when I'm not right there

to watch him, but I'm sure I will be moving it back and

forth until he understands enough to stay away - which

should be soon!!
