Here are a couple of pictures from the
Calgary Zoo. A baby giraffe was just
born - it's a boy! His name is Richard
(what....??)








Daddy's looking a bit serious, but when
baby giraffes are involved, I guess you
can't be too careful...





And here's some from the hotel pool. Jared's first time in
an inner tube, and I think this is a super-adorable picture.
Actually, I think he looks slightly like his cousin, Tyson,
in this picture.





And here's Mommy and Jared,
just after Mommy dunked him.
He took it all in stride - he's really
good in the water, although he
is s bit freaked out by the large
expanse of water in a pool. We
usually bath him in the sink (WAY
easier on the back!!) and so a pool
seems huge compared to that.
But he's getting there. Ryan takes him
to swimming lessons every Monday.
