My only complaint is that he has started waking up at night. And not just once a night. I know it's because of the move, since it started around the time we started packing - everything is so unsettled right now for him. I can live with it until we move in, but my fear is that it has become a habit. I see three or four hard nights of crying in the near future to "retrain" him how to put himself to sleep and stay there. He knows how to do it - he did it since he was really young, so hopefully it will come back to him quicker than I think. I just can't do it now, since we are living with Ryan's parents and it just wouldn't be fair to them to have a screaming baby up half the night for a few nights. Plus, we'd probably have to do it all over again when we finally moved into our place. SO for now, it's lots of co-sleeping (which I said I would never do, but there is the desperation factor here!) and night feedings. Sigh. I am so grateful for Ryan, who usually gives me a break for one of the awakenings per night, even though he has to go to work in the morning. I has been really exhausting for me - I was spoiled when Jared was younger!!
Speaking of Ryan, he starts his last session of school on Monday - and then the practical test and he has his journeyman's!!! YEAH!!!!

Hi Allison! It's great to see some pictures of Jared! He looks so good!! I'm glad to hear that things are progressing with the house. I had the same problem with Libby in the night, but I used the "pick up, put down" method and now she is sleeping through the night again. I can give you the details if you want when you're ready for it! Hope your nights get better again soon!
Hey Allison,
Why don't you like co-sleeping? I wish Annika would sleep with us, but she just can't. They are my little, cuddly babies for only so long, and I like to hold them as much as possible. They grow up so fast, and I used to think they were so big, but now I look back and realize they were so small!
If I can give you a word of advice (ha, me giving advice about sleeping), but with big babies, even if they're good sleepers, I don't care what the books say, when they're not getting much protein in their solids, I think they need to get up at night to nurse -- at least once anyways.
But, I'm sure things will settle down soon for him, and then again when you've been in your new house for a bit.
Wow, he looks so good!!! He looks so much like you now, such a little Unger. I'll phone you soon.
He's so cute! I love the little chair, what a great idea.
