We are at the cabin for the weekend, so I'm not sure if this picture will upload - there is only dial-up way up here! But it was taken last week. Jared is now 7 weeks old - crazy! And he has been holding his head up for longer and longer periods of time, especially this weekend. He is getting so strong. The poor little guy did get some mosquito bites on his head - I was so careful, but they have been just horrible.
One thing that I am quite proud of since pregnancy has been that I have been able to fit into pre-pregnancy pants since about 1 1/2 weeks after Jared's birth. I have forgotten to blog about it, and I'm not "gloating" - I was (and still am) sincerely excited when I was first able to and wanted to share it with all of you! I guess that's the bonus of only gaining weight where Baby grows! You shed it really fast!

Tell me about it! The mosquitos are so bad at camp, but they're getting better. I couldn't figure out where the kids were getting their bites from (I wasn't seeing any landing on them), but I finally figured out they were getting bit at night. So, a thorough kill before bed, and a net over Annika's playpen has alleviated (is that how you spell it?) the problem.
Oh, and a plug. There is awesome natural insect repellant at Herbs 'n' Health on Broadway. It is made in Calgary, smells so good, and works really well -- especially for the kids.
