Sorry that I haven't blogged in awhile - our computer is officially dead. So I can't just hop on and off whenever I want. We are in the process of getting a new one as I type. So hopefully by the weekend I will be able to post more pictures. We are all doing really well - I feel great and Jared is perfect...most of the time :) He is on a three hour schedule during the day and only wakes up once during the night to eat. We weighed him yesterday - he is alreaday 11 pounds 1 1/2 ounces!!! He has gained 2 pounds and one ounce since the day we left the hospital, which great! So we know who he will take after - his daddy!! We didn't measure him, but he has his first doctor's appointment on Friday, so all that stuff will be figured out then, and I'll update you all. He is so amazing - I love my little boy, my son. He is so beautiful and soft and peaceful and attentive - he will just stare at a face (particularly Ryan's). He is so close to smiling back. We watched Ryan's soccer game together this evening. He slept the whole time in his Jelly Bean snuggly, sighing and cooing every once in awhile. (Carrie - I just LOVE the Jelly Bean!) How is it possible to love someone that you've just met so much. I would do anything for him. What a perfect picture of Christ's love for us (I know, cliche, but SO true.)
Keep checking, pictures are coming soon!

Hi Allison!

I actualy ran across your blog hopping from blogroll to blogroll one day. Then when I realized you are in Saskatoon and at Lakeview, I realized that you know the Downies who are my husband's a my good friends. I think Jen and Neil were going to go and see you in the hospital the day I figured it all out!

I just wanted to say congratulations on the baby and I hope everything goes well, as it appears to be. He is beautiful!

I also wanted to warn you... our second, Luke, was 9lb 9oz at birth and was just over 12 pounds at a month. It appears as though Jared will surpass that by a month. So, be warned that your back will never be the same! Luke was 18lb at 3 months and 30lb at a year. And of course they usually don't walk early with that much weight! But, their fat little legs are so cute!!

Anyways, just wanted to let you know what odd connections you can find on the web!
