This baby is going to grow up to be a dancer, I am convinced of that. S/He loves to shake his/her booty!! And my left side, just under my ribs (but far enough away that it's not painful!) gets to feel every practice session!! And then hand and/or feet movement joins in, just under my waistline. It's quite interesting, as on the right side, I very rarely feel any part of Baby, but the left side is loaded with Baby parts! You'd think I'd be lopsided, but I'm not. Baby is probably just farther back on my right side, because if I dig deep enough, I can push something on that side which makes the obvious parts on my left side move. What a truly amazing experience this whole pregnancy thing has been and continues to be for me. I am so thankful for how positive and "easy" it has been. Not every woman feels this great at 33 weeks!! Yup, today is my last day of week 33. 7 more to go. Wow. I remember when I was 7 weeks pregnant - we hadn't had our first ultrasound yet, and I was really nervous about losing the Baby. And now we are almost there!
As far as the sex of Baby goes, most people have been guessing boy for whatever reason (although neither Ryan or I, nor either set of parents have a guess). But our nephew, Ethan, is convinced it's a girl (he's 4 1/2). He first told Ryan's Dad, and then the other day he told me. I was talking about him or her, and he said, "nope, you're having a girl". And he talked about bringing her to the park and she would have to go into the baby swing or else she would fall out. He uses the feminine pronoun very comfortably when referring to Baby. So we'll see - maybe it will be out of the mouths of babes!!! He also said that there were too many boys already in the family (he has twin brothers and there are no other cousins) so it was time for a girl. He is so fascinated with the whole baby thing - he wants to touch my belly and compare it with his - he LOVED pushing on Baby's bum and feeling it come back to touch his had. It's really fun to have him so interested.
