Hey - I got a call to sub today! I'm not quite sure what the deal has been lately, but subbing has just been SO SLOW. And then last night we got home late, and there was a message from a principal, so I was so mad that I had missed that. And then this morning, Saskatoon Public called, but it was for a high school (Nutana + resource room - oi!) and I said from the beginning that I was not going to sub city high schools, so I turned it down. And then a few minutes later, the principal that had left a message last night called again and I could accept! So I am in Colonsay...subbing high school, but I know the kids and I don't mind small town high schools, so it's okay. Right now the kids are working on French in the computer lab, so I'm just blogging and keeping an eye on them.
I've also made it so that anyone can now comment on my blog (not just other bloggers) and we'll see what happens. If I start getting SPAM, I'll change it back, but for now anyone can comment...
This morning was the first morning that Baby has kept me awake. I woke up at about 5:30 to pee, and then couldn't fall back asleep because there was a foot or hand or knee or elbow going up and down my left side. Just back and forth, up and down, and then a quick break in my hip and then back to "pacing". And if I flipped onto my right side, it felt like I was laying on a ball, because his/her head or bum was right there. So eventually I turned onto my back and chased him/her around my left side. And then just when all the action stopped and I could start relaxing, the phone rang. Sigh. I'm going to be tired when I get home this afternoon! It'll be major nap time!
