We had our routine ultrasound today, and all is still well. I'm not currently at home, so I can't post the picture, but I will. Because the earlier you can date a pregnancy by ultrasound, the more accurate it is, my doctor is leaving my due date at May 7 (which I agree with). However, if we were to go by today's measurement date, we would be due on April 27! So we have a long baby! That doesn't really surprise me, considering his/her Daddy's height, not to mention Uncle's height! Actually, we aren't lacking in the height department on either side of the family! But Baby was moving so much that the tech had a hard time looking at what he needed to be seeing! That's a good sign for us. And I am starting to feel those movements more and more. Today I actually felt a kick with my hand! So now Ryan has his hand on my belly constantly, which I love. I love it that he wants so badly to feel the movement of our baby! It really is an amazing thing to see. At our last u/s, all of Baby fit on the screen...not anymore! And everything did look good - we saw the heart chambers, and the kidneys, and the spine, and the femur (sp?), and feet and hands and legs and arms and skull...etc, etc. I love my baby so very much already (I cry whenever I watch the u/s).
