The twins were wonderful (slept in until 9am every morning for us!!) and I think they had a lot of fun at the lake! We take care of them/see them quite a bit, but it sure makes a difference having them for four days! We were able to see more of their unique personalities shining through. One incident that I will write about that caught my attention: we were at the beach on Sunday, and when we first got arrived, there were two other people there. The boys stuck pretty close to the bench I was sitting on, dumping sand onto it and then pushing it off, etc. Once the other two left, though, did they ever get more confident! Loading up sand and dumping it into the water, wading into the water a tiny bit, bringing water back up to me and dumping it on the sand, etc. A few minutes later, another few people came, and it was right back to playing right beside/on the bench! It was very interesting. Anyway, we all had fun and it was strange to not have to put them to bed on Monday night! We kinda got a bit hooked on those two! :)
