Yeah. It's 1:30 am and I am awake. Like, fully awake. And I teach tomorrow. Arghhh. I have been having trouble sleeping properly the last few days. I don't know what it is, but I can't fall asleep and then I start waking up at around 5:30 am, every 20 minutes or so. I know I am tired, so that's the REALLY annoying part!
Ryan and I watched our three nephews this evening, as we do every Tuesday evening, and of course, there is always at least one funny story that comes from the evening. Like Tyson forcing me to drink water from his sippy cup. Literally, he was forcing me. I had him on my lap with one arm around him, and Aaron was snuggled up to my other side, with my other arm around him. I had no arms free, so Tyson pushed his cup into my mouth and I could not stop him! I had to get Ryan to help me. And all three boys are fascinated that I can roll my tongue up, so Ty wanted me to do it again, and he would stick his finger in the hole, and then try to do it with his tongue (he can't) and then he just tongue-kissed me, which may sound gross, but with a 1 1/2 year old, it's pretty cute. This was the first night we had a lot of trouble getting the twins to go to sleep, and it didn't help that both Chris and Carrie came home around that time - no offense guys, but it's true! I think they were straining to hear your voices coming to "rescue" them! They were both just so tired... And Ethan is into Uno, which is a nice thing for us, since we got him the game for Christmas!! He's got most of the rules down-pat, too. He makes everyone pout if they lose to him. And if you win, he just throws down his remaining cards and declares, "I win!" He could play that game for hours. Yup, my biological clock is sure ticking away....
On a side note, for those of you who watch The Amazing Race, three cheers for Jon and Victoria getting eliminated!!!
