You know, I am really sick of all the aniti-Bush talk that's going on, especially by Christians. First of all, since when is it okay for us to bash other people, especially our leaders? The things that are coming out of people's mouths are horrendous! Maybe, just maybe, we should get onto our knees and PRAY for the President instead of trashing him. Secondly, while we are affected to some extent by America, maybe we should mind our own business. We are not Americans. There is absolutely nothing we can do about American elections. Thirdly, there are obviously people out there who agree with the Republican's policies and want them in power. But apparently those people have an easier time keeping their mouths shut. Fourthly, we live in a democratic society. The majority wins. The majority, small as it was, has spoken, so get over it. No belly-aching is going to change this fact. Again, I point you in the direction of Chester McKenzie's blog from October 31. Liberals/Democrats may think that Bush is dividing the country, but I happen to think that they themselves are dividing the country. So you didn't get your way. You can still stand behind your government and President, even if you don't agree with everything done. And I don't think that the public understands a lot of what goes on - everything reported to us has a slant to it, whether it be pro or anti Bush. Even how Bush is seen as arrogant. Well, maybe he's just confident and happy. He won! Isn't he allowed to be happy? No one would ever have accused Kerry of being arrogant if he had won! And does anyone know what Kerry and the Democrats stand for, besides the big War issue? Exactly.
