Ryan and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary from Sunday to yesterday. The actual day is today, but with other stuff going on, we just couldn't get away for a night on either side of today. It was still super great. I love that we have decided to make our anniversary a priority. I think it's so important to look back together each year on that wonderful day of marriage, forgetting about problems and focusing on why we made the decision to marry and all the ways God has blessed us together. I know it's easier to do now that it's only the two of us, but hey, that's what grandparents are for when the kids come into play, right?!
I am the photographer at Paul and Christa's wedding on Saturday, and so Christa and I were looking at different poses and pictures that she likes from other weddings, including my own, and the timing with our anniversary was just perfect. I am so in love with Ryan. He is everything that I knew I wanted and so much more that I didn't realize I wanted. And he's hot to top it all off!!! :) It's so amazing how God knows just who we need to complete us. I feel "sorry" (for lack of a better word) for Christians who choose to marry outside of the faith. And it is a choice. I came close enough to the wrong choice to especially appreciate the right choice, and the patience and committment God has for me. And for a praying mother. God bless praying mothers!!!!
