Okay, so I am not as regular about this blogging thing as I used to be. I'm sorry. Anyway, my soccer team had provincials this past weekend and did awesome on Saturday and crappy on Sunday. We are such as weird team - like none I have ever played on before. We fight so much within the team. Well, mostly it's only a few people, but it still doesn't make for good team moral! How well we get along totally depends on whether we win or lose. It's stupid. But things are starting to get better and work out, and I think it's because a few weeks ago, I said how I felt and totally opened up a can of worms (I think I actually blogged about that). So since then, people have felt more at ease to say how they feel, and the few "fighters" on the team have calmed down a bit. Plus stuff from personal lives have come out and one girl in particular has begun to receive help, which will probably help a lot! We have at least one more indoor game (semi-finals) and if we win we go onto finals. We should win, considering we were in first/second place at the end of regular season. (It's a little confusing, because technically a youth team finished first, but they don't count.) It's exciting for me, because I moved up from a third division team where (not to brag on myself, but it's true) I was the best player and was not learning at all, to a first division team, where I am not the best player, but am learning so much more. This all despite the dysfunctional team I play on. I love soccer. That's all I have to say.
