We just got back from sailing the Whitsundays...I have decided that I love sailing. It was so fun and relaxing and one of the beaches, Whitehaven, is SO INCREDIBLE!!! The sand is silica and just so fine and soft and gorgeous. I highly recommend a sailing adventure down here.
